The Fault Line Bench, for Seismic Seating.

With all the seismic activity happening around the planet these days, I thought the Fault Line Bench by Michigan based designer/builder  Cameron Van Dyke would be a good Saturday morning post.

I like the bench for a number of reasons, use of materials, overall look, clean lines, combination of the powder coated steel with natural wood top…

The bench is a puzzle of interlocking Ipe  plates that make up the seat surface which rest on top  of the 11’ long powder coated base,  in a unique jagged shape. Designed for use in public spaces the seat surface  will stay cool in the sun and allow drainage through the cracks.
