Kam Kam

Korean design firm Kam Kam has created a amazing functional cabinet based on harmonic proportions that scale as the cabinet is stacked and reconfigured. What Kam Kam has designed is a piece of furniture that looks beyond the standard features we ask for in a piece of furniture, and looks to increase efficiency in storage and ease of assembly.

The way this cabinet is designed, all the modules can be connected together for one look, or reassembled into different configurations or stand alone parts. The back of each unit is standard MDF, with a white laminate coating. Doors are Baltic Birch, with hidden hardware to maintain the clean lines of each case. The units bolt together with a simple locking C-Clamps that are hidden behind the case units. The assembled cabinet sits atop a solid wood table that looks as though it was inspired by Heywood Wakefield.
