Lagerhaus Blog-Up Stores. A Fresh Approach to Affiliate Marketing.

Swedish home interior retailer Lagerhaus has launched a very successful online campaign to promote new store openings, drive online sales, and increase their fan base. The new online campaign, known as  “blog-up stores”, seeds a select group of interior design bloggers with promotional materials and challenges them to promote their new online store front.

The “blog up store” link back into Twitter and Facebook to increase fans, and spread word of the new store openings. Functioning as a traditional affiliate program with a viral twist, the campaign generated a sizeable amount of online buzz kick starting the official Lagerhaus e-commerce store, and driving traffic to the physical bricks and mortar stores as well.

The blog-up stores have become so successful that they are now a permanent fixture of the Lagerhaus e-commerce offerings.
