A few weeks back Adobe launched the “Logo Remix Project,” where designers, artists and agencies were asked to reinterpret the brand’s Iconic logo. One of the latest visions from the campaign/project is “Adobe Lights” from Goodby Silverstein & Partners. In this version, the logo is envisioned in a physical form using 100 handmade light up cubes. Each cube represents one pixel from a work in progress by an artist or designer working on the project. The colors change in realtime as the individual works on the logo redesign using the Adobe Creative suite. The installation is a physical representation of the global community of designers and artists that work with Adobe software everyday. What a great blend of technology, art, design, and social community. For a complete breakdown of the project click on the Adobe Lights link above.
