This is a fun little Monday visualization from Alexander Lis, in Frankfurt Germany. The video below is a visually generated Hindi translation created from Google Translate. I don’t have a whole lot to say about it, except that it is pretty cool. Detailed info can be found on Lis web site. If you click through to Vimeo, there are more translations in German, French, and English.
I found this film by Hanna Maria Heidrich this morning while cruising through Vimeo. The film was shot in Frankfurt on Neue Mainzer Strasse, but you would never know. Hanna Maria Heidrich, and editor Benjamin Entrup have done a great job of convincing you that this is New York, or any major city for that matter. In reality, the actual location isn’t important. The film is surreal, and tragic at the same time. Beautifully shot, the film has a really nice look to it with short depth of field, and desaturated color that really enhances the urban feel that Heidrich has created.
