Light Show

Onsize Animates the FITC Opening Titles.

One conference that I have always wanted to go to was FITC. Partly because it’s in Amsterdam, and mostly because it has a tremendous line up of speakers. Oh and the tage line for the conference is “DESIGN. TECHNOLOGY. COOL SHIT”. Today when I was out on Vimeo I found te opening titles for the keynote which were created by .

“Pyradical” is a 80’s retro influenced, electronica, disco, work of mesmerizing visuals. It’s just over two and a half minutes of pure light show, and while it looks simple I guarantee this to quite a bit of time and work to produce.

Luminous Flux The Liver Building Light Show.

It’s been a while since I have posted anything about projection mapping. I’ve kind of been over the whole thing since so many mediocre projection mapping projects have surfaced in the last six months. Because of that it really takes something spectacular to make me sit up and take notice. The video below is the “Luminous Flux, Liver Building Light Show”. Produced by Macula, it is to celebrate the opening of a new museum in Liverpool in the 100 year old Liver building. It’s 11 minutes long but worth watching.
