Iconic publisher Penguin, recently commissioned Woof Wan-Bau to produce an animated short to celebrate the launch of their new series, the Penguin English Library. The 3 minute animated short is built from “100 of the best novels in the English language”, featuring the 20 titles available at the launch date. The piece features cover designs from Coralie Bickford-Smith, and the Penguin Logo animated and brought to life. Be sure and check out the Facebook page to see even more about the series.
Earlier today I was doing some research for an internal news letter on packaging trends and I came across this design for Arctic Juice. I wish I could tell you more about it, but I have found out pretty much nothing. I love the design though. Simple graphics that make up the body and face of the penguin, and the use of the structural flaps as the wings and feet. Kudos to the designer who ever you are.
